About ANU

Acharya ?Nagarjuna University was initiated in 1976 by the former President of India, Shri Fakruddin Ali Ahmed in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. It offers 68 undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the fields of Engineering, Sciences, design, management Arts, Pharmacy, Sports, and many more areas. Also, It offers M.Phil and Ph.D in 48 disciplines over six campuses that are colleges. UGC has approved 450 colleges in Krishna, Guntur, and Prakasam Districts. It has obtained an "A Grade the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) awarded Acharya Nagarjuna University. It is spread around an area of 300 acres. There are about 5000 enrolled students in the university. Acharya Nagarjuna University has been the 63rd pharmacy institute by NIRF Ranking and the batch of the year 2023 according to the university. The university is focused on research and management with 66 patents, More than 200+ projects and publications are also given by the university. The institute also offers distance education/correspondence courses through ANUCDE.

Eligibility

Candidates must have passed or appeared for 10+2 examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optionals or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh.

Selection Criteria

Admission to the B.Tech. program will be given based on the performance of the candidate in JEE Main

Admission to the B.Arch. course shall be based on the performance of the candidate in the NATA.

Acharya Nagarjuna University has a committed placement cell which provides decent placements for UG as well as PG students.
