IIM Shillong is an ice-breaker for a two-year full-time PGDM with an intake of approximately 238 students. The institute offers admission to its programs based on the CAT examination, which is followed by a Personal Interview. IIM Shillong's cutoff for CAT goes up to 90 percentile overall and 75 percentiles in sectional terms. The fee structure for the PGDM course of IIM Shillong is INR 15 Lakhs for 2 years. IIM Shillong Placements 2024 concluded with the highest package at INR 71.50 LPA and an average package of INR 26.10 LPA. IIM Shillong Admission 2025

IIM Shillong PGP admission process includes the following stages:

Admission: The eligibility criteria of the PGP course of IIM Shillong are a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 60% in both 10th and 12th grades. CAT score provides the avenue for admission. The Exam is conducted during November month of every year. The Application forms are available from August. All applicants can apply for all IIMs including IIM Shillong through CAT form. As a General category of the candidate, notably, IIM Shillong gives 15% weightage to work experience. My direct offer was based on an evaluation of 85%. Notably, freshers may need to invest additional effort in the GD and PI processes at IIM Shillong. Another important thing is that, unlike other IIMs, IIM Shillong uniquely conducts GD before PI.
